Control Box BB2

Universal Control Box for all Cerlic X-type Sensors
The BB2 is a powerful control box that can support a combination of two different sensors, measuring dissolved oxygen, suspended solids and fiber consistency simultaneously. Weighing less than 3 lbs, the BB2 is distinguished by a three button panel used to navigate the intuitive software.

The central unit, BB2, will support our rugged X style sensors for measuring fiber consistency and suspended solids in the Pulp & Paper Industry or MLSS, DO, pH,
ORP or flow in Water and Waste Water Treament Plants and Industrial Processes.

CTX 20/25

Optical Consistency Meter 1” Flow-thru Design
The CTX20/25 flow-Through Sensor enables continuous measurement of
consistency in a host of applications, such as around pressurized screens and
after pulpers, as well as for monitoring filters, suspended solids in waste water,
and white and green liquor. it is easy to install and have a measurement range
of 0 – 5%.

The sensor can be connected via either a 25 or 50 mm welded end. Inspection and calibration are simple and generally required only once or
twice a year.

CTX 20/50
Optical Consistency Meter 2” Flow-thru Design
The CTX20/50 by-pass Consistency Sensor is developed to measure stock
consistency or suspended solids in liquids. The CTX sensor is used to
continuously measure fibers and particles that are greater than 0.88 microns,
such as stock from 0.01% (100ppm) to 5%, WWTP influent, fiber losses in
sewers, etc.
The CTX 20/50 is constructed of 316SS with sapphire lenses and supplied
with 2” npt couplings. The measuring principle is based on the ability of
suspended particles to absorb and reflect NIR-light (near infrared), which is
pulsed at 880 nm.

CTXP 03/25
Optical consistency meter for total consistency
The CTXP03/25 by-pass Consistency Sensor is developed to measure low fiber consistency in liquids, where there are variations in ash content i.e. prior to head box, white water (retention).
The CTXP03/25 is constructed of 316SS with lenses in quartz glass, to withstand
the most aggressive media. The sensor measures NIR light transmission through
the liquid. The measuring principle is based on the ability of fibers to depolarize
light to a much greater degreee than denser solid particles.

CTXIL HP
Optical In-line consistency meter High Pressure Design
The CTXIL HP In-line Consistency Sensor was developed to measure stock
consistency or suspended solids in liquids. The CTXIL HP sensor is used to
continuously measure fibers and particles that are greater than 0.88 microns,
such as stock from 0.01% (100 ppm) to 15%, (depending on type of stock).

The sensor has a mechanical stop collar, which creates a blow-out proof
design. The CTXIL HP is constructed of 316SS with sapphire lenses and
supplied with an 316SS isolation 2” ball valve connection. The measuring
principle is based on the ability of suspended particles to absorb and reflect
NIR-light

CTXIL 20/70
Optical In-line Consistency Meter 70 mm Design
The Cerlic CTXIL 20/70 In-line Consistency Sensor is developed to measure
stock consistency or suspended solids in liquids. The CTXIL 20/70 sensor is
used to continuously measure fibers and particles that are greater than 0.88
microns, such as stock from 0.01% (100ppm) to 15%, (depending on type of stock).

The CTXIL 20/70 is constructed of 316SS with sapphire lenses and supplied
with 70mm connection. The measuring principle is based on the ability of
suspended particles to absorb and reflect NIR-light (near infrared), which is
pulsed at 880 nm.
