Control Box BB2    

Universal Control Box for all Cerlic X-type Sensors
The BB2 is a powerful control box that can support a combination of two different sensors, measuring dissolved oxygen, suspended solids and fiber consistency simultaneously. Weighing less than 3 lbs, the BB2 is distinguished by a three button panel used to navigate the intuitive software.
The central unit, BB2, will support our rugged X style sensors for measuring fiber consistency and suspended solids in the Pulp & Paper Industry or MLSS, DO, pH,
ORP or flow in Water and Waste Water Treament Plants and Industrial Processes.

   

 
ITX Suspended Solids Sensor    
Submersible sensor for aeration basins and channels
The ITX Suspended Solids Sensor is the ultimate tool for effective process control.
The sensor is used for continous measurement of suspended solids in aeration
basins (MLSS), return sludge troughs, SBR-systems, raw sewage, primary clarifier effluent and sewer monitoring in industrial plants.
The sensor is an integral part of controlling solids retention time (SRT) or sludge age. The measuring principle is a single beam of pulsed NIR-light.
   

 
ITXIL In-Line Suspended Solids Sensor    
Inline with 1 1/2" SS isolation valve and built-in flushing nozzle
The ITXIL In-Line Suspended Solids Sensor is the ultimate tool for effective process control supplied with 1 1/2” SS isolation valve. Designed for up to 6 bar applications
with built-in mechanical stop.
The sensor is used for continous measurement of suspended solids in RAS, WAS, MLSS and Sand Filter Backwash monitoring in industrial plants. The measuring principle is a single beam of pulsed NIR-light.
   

 
FLX Flow Sensor    
Immersion sensor for Open Channel Flow
Immersion Sensor FLX to measure flow as a function of liquid depth in open channels. Two sensors can be connected to the same BB2 central unit, so flow can be measured in two types of flumes/weirs simultaneously.
Actual flow rate is presented continuously on a display. If overflow function is selected, then the number of overflows is indicated on the display.
 

 
O2X Dissolved Oxygen Sensor    
Dissolved Oxygen Sensor O2X for continous measurement of dissolved oxygen in
SBR systems, aeration basins and final effluent. The O2X is essential in saving
energy associated with running blowers in aeration basins. The measurement of dissolved oxygen also assists in controlling nitrification/denitrification and leads to
better process control. The oxygen electrode provides stable and reliable readings.
The special, patented design of the electrode ensures that the air bubble will not
touch the silver anode when in operation. This prevents corroding of the electrode
and ultimately contributes to its long life.
 

 
CTX 20/25SS    
Optical Suspended Solids Meter 1” Flow-thru Design
The CTX 20/25 by-pass Suspended Solids Sensor is developed to measure
suspended solids in liquids. The CTX sensor is used to continuously measure
solids that are greater than 0.88 microns, such as in WWTP influent and effluent,
clarifier effluent, condensate contamination, DAF influent and effluent solids,
centrate and filtrate, industrial process slurries, etc.
The CTX 20/25 is constructed of 316SS with sapphire lenses and supplied with
1” npt couplings. The measuring principle is based on the ability of suspended
particles to absorb and reflect NIR-light (near infrared), which is pulsed at 880 nm.
 

 
CTX 20/25LC    
Optical Reuse & Low Solids TSS Meter 1” Flow-thru Design
The Cerlic CTX20/25LC Low Suspended Solids Sensor was developed to
measure very low solids concentrations in Reuse water and final effluent in
the municipal and industrial markets. The CTX20/25LC sensor is used to
continuously measure solids that are greater than 0.88 microns.
The Sensor can be calibrated for 0-10 ppm in increments of 0.1 ppm. New
factory set temperature compensation value allows for very stable values all
year round. Unit is zero calibrated at factory, so you only need to add a liquid
calibration point in the field.
 

 
pHX / ReX Sensors    

pH- and ORP sensors pHX and ReX intended for applications in waste water
treatment plants, industrial process sewers etc,.
The sensors are based on digital electronic with RS485 communication to the
central unit BB2. As optional equipment there is a slide rail mounting, an automatic flushing system and a 33’ (10 m) extension cable.
All settings are made from the central unit BB2 using a three button panel. Two
sensors in the X-series can be connected to a singel BB2 box, which provides
two 4-20 mA outputs. Two relay outputs are used for high/low alarms and flushing
of the electrode. The BB2 box is built with the ability to add an interface board that
allows connection to a fieldbus.

 

 
pH-electrode    
The pH-electrode Cerlic’s standard electrode is a combination glass electrode.
The liquid junction, shaped as a ring above the sensing bulb, is made of teflon.
This design offers a broad field of applications and is suitable for pH
measurement in waste waters as well as in potable waters.
 

 
ORP electrode    
The ORP electrode is a combination electrode with a platinum-rod with a ceramic pin. The electrode is suitable for ORP measuring in industrial waste and process waters
such as cooling water, residual chlorine in final effluent and potable water, bleaching
of pulp, etc.
 

 
COW Water Sampler    
COW is a liquid sampler suitable for the difficult municipal and industrial sampling
applications. COW utilizes prevacuum of sample chamber to lift samples rapidly
when the suction height exceeds 10 ft. This prevents particles from settling and
ensures a representative sample. The internal logger stores information if any
sample is missed. The sample chamber is easy to clean and access due to
removable twist cup design.
 

 
CBX    
Automatic Sludge Blanket Tracker
Cerlic CBX is a sludge blanket meter for reliable, repeatable and accurate
measurement of blanket depth in clarifiers and thickeners. Measuring range is
0 to 26 ft (0 to 8 m). Total length of cable is 36 ft (11m). Determination of sludge l
evel in primary and secondary clarifiers will help avoid solids wash outs and allow
for better solids inventory control. Blanket monitoring in a thickener is important in
order to optimize the dry solids concentration, which means less water to the digester
or dewatering equipment.
 

 
TRACKER    
Portable Sludge Blanket Monitor
Cerlic Tracker is an optical sludge blanket monitor, which is used to detect the sludge
level in clarifiers and thickeners.
Five ranges cover from low suspended solids to approximately 5% total solids.
A LED-display indicates the solids concentration. The unit is operated by a 9 V battery,
which will last for more than 50 hours of operation. The transmitter is mounted in a moulded silicon rubber housing and connected to 33 ft. or flexible cable with tabs at
1 meter intervals for easy location of the sludge blanket level.
The Tracker uses NIR-light (Near Infra Red) for detection of blanket or solids, which is
not sensitive to color changes of the liquid.
